What information we collect

This site has two forms and no others: the contact form and the prayer request form. From the contact form we keep your name, your phone number, your email address if you choose to leave one, the subject you select and the message you write. From prayer requests we keep the name you enter and the intention.

There is no other point of collection. We do not ask for a mailing address, there is no user registration, there is no online event sign-up, and no donations are processed on this site.

Why we keep your IP address

Each message is stored together with the IP address it was sent from. It serves one purpose only: to stop the automated, repeated sending of junk messages that would otherwise flood the Mission inbox. We do not use it to identify you, to track your browsing or for advertising.

How we use your information

Only to reply to you and to attend to what you asked for. We do not sell information, we do not share it with third parties, we do not use it for advertising and we do not add it to any mailing list.

Please be aware of one important thing: messages from this form are stored for the Mission to read, but the site does not send an automatic alert to anyone. If your matter is urgent — anointing of the sick, a funeral — please call. Do not wait for a reply to the form.

Prayer requests

A prayer request is published on the site only if TWO conditions are met at once: that you tick the box authorising it to be shared, and that a Mission staff member then approves it. If either one is missing, the intention is prayed for but not published.

Please do not include another person's health, financial or family information in a request without their permission.

How long we keep information

Contact messages and prayer requests are kept for as long as they remain useful in order to serve you, and are deleted when you ask us to. They are not removed automatically: if you want yours taken out, simply call.

The site does run a daily automatic cleanup of other items: expired administration sessions, announcements past their end date, anything more than thirty days in the trash, and the internal panel activity log older than one year.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses no Google Analytics or any other measurement tool, has no social media pixels, and installs no advertising or tracking cookies. There is nothing to accept or decline.

The only cookie that exists is the administration panel session cookie, and it is received only by the Mission staff who log in to manage the site.

Children

This site does not ask for or collect children's information. Registration for faith formation and for any children's or youth activity takes place in person with the Mission, not online. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has sent us information through the form, please call and we will delete it.

How to ask us to delete your information

Call the Mission and say so. You do not need to write a letter or fill in any form. You may also ask us to correct information that is wrong.

Changes to this notice

If the site ever begins doing something it does not do today — for example accepting online donations — this notice will be updated BEFORE that happens, not afterwards.
